We cordially invite students of music schools, students and graduates of music universities to the Online MasterClass with dr hab. Tomasz Lisiecki!

Tomasz Lisiecki is one of the cellists who successfully combine performance practice in the repertoire of romantic, contemporary and early music. He performs with numerous ensembles and orchestras, as a soloist – with the accompaniment of the Poznań Philharmonic, the Poznań Opera Orchestra, the Zielona Góra Philharmonic, the Poznań Academy of Music Orchestra and Capella Viridimontana. In 1999 he graduated with honors from the I. J. Paderewski in Poznań in the class of prof. Stanisław Pokorski. After graduation, he continued his studies in the class of prof. Kazimierz Michalik in Warsaw, at the same time he started working at the Academy of Music in Poznań as an assistant. In 2003 he enrolled in the Baroque cello class of Markus Möllenbeck and Phoebe Carrai at the Universität der Künste in Berlin, which he graduated with a very good grade in 2005. As part of his studies of early music repertoire and performance, he perfected his skills at the Bach-Händel Akademie in Karlsruhe with Phoebe Carrai and Jaap Ter Linden.

Tomasz Lisiecki, parallel to his artistic and concert work, also conducts extensive teaching activities. His students are laureates of international and national cello competitions. Tomasz Lisiecki is also invited to participate in the works of the jury of national cello and chamber competitions. In 2006 and 2010, he was awarded the Mayor of Poznań Award for his teaching work.

For many years, together with the pianist Paweł Mazur, he has been organizing the Cello Master Courses and the International Chamber Music Festival. Philippa and Xaver Scharwenka in Szamotuły. Since 2007, Tomasz Lisiecki has been the president of the Pro Cello Foundation supporting young cellists.
